Toddler Class

Our two toddler classes are taught by Wendy Wyckoff and have spots for 12 children. There are usually at least 4 co-oping parents at a time making the parent-child ratio 1 adult to 3 children. Toddlers and their parent(s) participate in the classroom learning new parenting and teaching skills, and sharing support with other families with young children. The program emphasizes social and emotional development, exploration of the environment through the senses and introduction to art and music activities. To qualify for enrollment, your child must be 12 to 36 months old. Toilet training is not required.

Friday option: Fridays is a combined toddler and preschool class for children ages 2 to 3.5. It meets in the Toddler Classroom with Teacher Wendy. Toddlers must be 2 by October to enroll.

Preschool Class

Our preschool classes are taught by either Maggie Klepp or Dara Thornton. There are two morning classes and two afternoon classes with spots for 12 children. There are usually at least 4 co-oping parents at a time making the parent-child ratio approximately 1 parent to 3 children. Preschoolers and their parent(s) participate in our developmental program emphasizing children's expression, ideas and creativity. The teacher will provide training in supportive parenting techniques via seminars, observation, and discussion; positive guidance and problem-solving strategies will be emphasized. To qualify for enrollment, your preschooler must be 2.5 to 5 years old. Toilet training is not required.

Friday option: Fridays is a combined toddler and preschool class for children ages 2 to 3.5. It meets in the Toddler Classroom with Teacher Wendy. Preschoolers must be enrolled in a TTh class and be between 2.5 and 3.5 years old by October to enroll.
